Paula Clark
Lead practice nurse
Paula gained her degree in nursing from the University of Essex. She has worked in a variety of different fields including a high-dependency respiratory ward and in the community as a respiratory specialist nurse. Paula moved to Norfolk in July 2022 and joined the practice shortly after. She spends her spare time with her children and two dogs.
Sue Revell
Practice nurse
Sue qualified as a RGN in 1985 at the West Suffolk Hospital, after which she moved to Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and worked in a variety of fields including general medicine and surgery, gynaecology and family planning before leaving in 1999 to work as a district nurse; gaining a Diploma in Nurse Practice in 2001 and a Diploma in Diabetes Management in Primary Care in 2006. Sue has worked as a practice nurse at Watton for the last 8 years and her special interests include women’s health and diabetes. In her free time Sue loves to dance and spend time in her garden.
Annette Mackenzie
Practice nurse
In 2011, Annette (Netty) qualified from the University of East Anglia, after which she went straight to accident and emergency as a new qualified nurse. Whilst there, she progressed to a deputy sister. After 11 years in A&E, she left in September 2022 to join Watton Medical Practice. Her health interests include minor injuries and women’s health. She enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and collective 5 children: as well as pottering in the garden.
Roxanne Rudd
Practice nurse
Roxy completed her nurse training with UEA at the end of 2022. She is a diabetes specialist and has a keen interest in wound care, substance misuse and child immunisations. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Rachel Hoskins
Nursing associate
Rachel qualified as a healthcare assistant in 2007 at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital. She worked on a general medical ward assisting with procedures. Part of her role was taking blood pressures, blood sugars and general care to patients. She then moved on to become a maternity care assistant at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital, where she stayed for 8 years, assisting women with breastfeeding support, new-born care and supporting midwives in theatre. She gained her level 3 NVQ in health and social care while she was there, and also qualified in phlebotomy. After having her own children she decided to leave the hospital and joined Watton Medical Practice. Since working at Watton Medical Practice, she has become a qualified nursing associate. She also assists in minor ops in the practice and carries out serious mental health checks.
Laura Meachen
Trainee nursing associate
Prior to joining Watton Medical Practice, Laura worked in a residential care home specialising in dementia for 8 years. She spent 3 years as a care assistant and 5 years as a senior carer. Laura joined the practice in November 2019 as healthcare assistant to expand her knowledge and work in a general practice setting. She is trained in phlebotomy, NHS health checks, ECGs, BPs, wound management, immunisations such as B12, pneumonia and shingles, pre-diabetes, HTN reviews, and sexual health checks and assists in minor ops and coil clinics. She has recently started her nursing associate course with the UEA.
Kelly Barnett
Healthcare assistant
Kelly qualified as a midwife from King’s College London University in 2004, but later left the profession when she went to start a family. She has spent many years working as a physiotherapy technical instructor, an activities and wellbeing lead in a dementia care home and as a healthcare assistant at a GP surgery in Buckinghamshire, before relocating to Norfolk in 2021. She carries out a wide range of duties at the surgery, including phlebotomy, NHS health checks, BPs, ECGs, wound care, and immunisations such as B12’s. Kelly is our inclusion health specialist at the surgery.
Viktoriia Malimonenko
Phlebotomist
Viktoriia joined the Practice in 2023 after relocating from Ukraine. She is trained in phlebotomy and health checks. She graduated from Medical College in 2008 in Ukraine. She is also trained as a massage therapist. She lives in Watton with her two young children who she enjoys spending time with, alongside playing sports and going to the gym.
Rhiannon Patrick
Care co-ordinator
Rhiannon has worked within different healthcare settings, mainly in homes that specialise in dementia. In 2017 she started studying a level 3 diploma in Allied Health Professionals and passed with a merit. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her 2 children and her dog.
